What a Gdayy agent actually does on a call

Inbound Outbound Voice Knowledge Base Routing Integrations and MCP

Inbound

Point a phone number at Gdayy and it answers on the first ring, at any hour. It tells the caller it is an AI assistant in its first sentence, then works out what they want and deals with it.

Replies come back almost instantly. Speech recognition, reasoning and the voice all run on the same Australian infrastructure, so there is no round trip overseas between the caller finishing a sentence and the agent starting one, and the conversation feels seamless.

What it handles
Bookings, reschedules and cancellationsQuotes and prices, from your published ratesOrder, job and account status questionsWarm transfer to a person when it should not answer alone

Outbound

Give an agent a list and a reason to ring, and it works through it. It calls inside the hours you set and stops when you tell it to.

A single task can span more than the call: ring, send the SMS, email the quote, then try again on Friday if nobody answered. Once it is set up, nobody has to remember to start it.

What people use it for
Following up quotes that have gone quietConfirming tomorrow’s appointmentsRinging the waitlist when a slot opensChecking in after a job and asking for a review

Voice

Pick an Australian voice from the library, or copy one of your own from a short recording. Copying a voice needs written consent from the person it belongs to.

Accent, speaking pace and the phrases the agent uses are all yours to set. It says “g’day” if that is how your business answers the phone, and does not if it is not.

Knowledge Base

The agent answers from your material, not from general knowledge. Upload price lists, service descriptions, warranty terms and opening hours, or point it at pages on your website.

When the answer is not in there, the agent says it does not know and offers a person instead of guessing. Update a document and the next call uses the new version.

Routing

Routing decides where a call goes. Set the rules once and Gdayy follows them: handle it, pass it to another agent that knows that topic better, or hand it to a person. Whoever picks up gets the context first, so the caller never repeats themselves.

You can also point your own phone at Gdayy, so it picks up when you cannot. All calls, after hours only, or only when you have not answered in four rings, is a setting, not a rebuild.

Integrations and MCP

Gdayy reads from the tools you already run so the agent can answer properly, and writes results back so nobody has to retype them. Anything without a ready-made connector can be linked through MCP or our API.
